Quick Connect Mini-Splits

No, the line sets are pre-charged with refrigerant and cannot be altered in any way, doing so will void the warranty.

Coil the line set behind the condenser, preferably laying it flat or horizontal on the ground.

The answer to this can be tricky because it depends on various factors including ceiling height, how many windows, how well the room is insulated, and so on. Visit our Buying Guides to get a better understanding of how to size your system, but the general rule of thumb is: 9,000 BTU = up to 350 square feet;  12,000 BTU = up to 500 square feet; 18,000 BTU = up to 750 square feet; 24,000 BTU = up to 1,000 square feet; 36,000 BTU = up to 1,500 square feet

Technically, they come off of the right side, but you have the option of going out either side.

These systems start to lose efficiency at 32°F, but they will operate down to -4°F. These are not meant to be a primary heat source. At 0° they will not produce much heat.

These units are 100% electric.

All units, except for DNMSHQCW36 and DNMSHQCW36-2, are Energy Star rated.

The machine is in the defrost cycle and will resume normal operation after the cycle is finished. Do not turn machine off during the defrost cycle as this can cause permanent damage.

On the handheld remote, press “-“ and “MODE” buttons at the same time.

Perfect Aire’s basic wired wall thermostat QC-WIRE-CON-HA04 is compatible with all Quick Connect systems. Perfect Aire 7-Day Wired Controller QC-WIRE-CON-HC01 is compatible with 18,000 and 24,000 BTU Quick Connect systems only. The only 3rd party thermostat that will work with these units is the Cielo Breez which is available through most larger retailers.

Denali Aire Quick Connects use the ConnectLife app to control the system on a mobile device. The ConnectLife app is available for iOS devices in the App Store and for Android devices in the Play Store — search “ConnectLife” to find the app. The Wi-Fi kit is already built into the indoor mini split head so additional installation or parts needed.

All Denali Aire mini split filters are washable.

A New Leaf extended warranty program is available for Quick Connect mini split systems 3 months of the purchase date listed on the receipt, not installation or delivery date.

Mini Split extended warranty is used to assist with costs of service calls on repairs (not maintenance) during and after the manufacture warranty; Both manufacture and extended warranties will overlap.

A max purchase price for eligible systems is up to $999.00 (not including taxes, installation, shipping fees, or other purchase costs/fees). Used or preowned machines are not eligible; A store purchase receipt is required to process extended warranty.

The 9,000 – 12,000 BTU systems are 115Volt.

The 18,000 – 36,000 BTU systems are 230Volt.

The Quick Connect outdoor machine will need to be hardwired to your electrical panel by a certified electrician. The indoor machine receives power through the communication cables that are connected to the outdoor machine, so no inside or outside electrical wall outlet is required to install.

Registration can be completed here. Registration is used by Denali Aire to protect customers by recording purchases. In case of a recall or other very important information pertaining to the machine, Denali Aire can quickly and efficiently contact you. Registration does not confirm the warranty status – a valid receipt is still required to confirm warranty. We highly suggest registering the unit as soon as possible to stay updated, but it can technically be done at any time.

ConnectLife App for Quick Connect Mini-Splits

Denali Aire Quick Connects use the ConnectLife app to control the system on a mobile device. The ConnectLife app is available for iOS devices in the App Store and for Android devices in the Play Store — search “ConnectLife” to find the app.

The ConnectLife app requires registration for use. When you register your device, you will receive a verification email from an address ending in “”. If you do not receive this email, check your junk folder.

If you attempt to incorrectly log into your account 5 times, your account will be frozen for 30 minutes. Once 30 minutes has passed, use the “forgot password” link to reset your password.

Your mobile device or app likely needs to be updated. If your mobile device is not up to date, update your phone. Once your phone is updated to the latest operating system, update the ConnectLife app to the latest version. Restart your phone before opening updated app. Be sure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi bandwidth, not 5Ghz Wi-Fi bandwidth.
